Best atmospheres at City home games

Second half Boxing Day v Newcastle 1978:
Colin Bell come back after severe injury.
0-0 became 4-0.
Grown men crying

Newcastle 1-0 under Keegan when Wanchope scored. That was a big game and the crowd helped that day. We were flirting with relegation that season.

The Adebayor game v Arsenal was good.

Charlton 5-1 was great.

United 5-1 with all the trouble followed by the win was great.

Hamburg

United 2012

Leeds back in the 80s was often a good if occasionally evil atmosphere. Much exchanging of pleasantries in the kippax.

Going there was interesting too....several tens of thousands singing your going to get your fucking head kicked in at us...ahh the good old days.

Yeah think it was a midweek game. When we adopted their dance. I've never laughed so much in a football game. Since Alan anyway.

It wasn't such a big raucous atmosphere I s'pose, it was just really good fun.

Edit: course it wasn't on a Saturday you nobhead

Edit: ain't going into the shitey b word but the Manc Poles helped make that a great night.

The Abebayor Arsenal game in 09 sticks out. Beautiful day and the game where we finally realised we belonged at the top.
