Blackpool FC & the Oystons - £31m repayment ordered

    The Blackpool chairman Valeri Belokon has brought a case against the Oyston family, who are the majority shareholders in the club. He claimed that they basically stole £42m from Blackpool, including most of the money they got in the PL, to prop up their own companies.

    He's won the case, with the Oystons ordered to repay £31m plus interest to the club. Excellent news.

    A quick google search says the family has a net worth of about £100m so they can but probably won’t

    Been following this case as I live in Blackpool
    Not sure what will happen now but that is a big payment to find

    Hopefully the tide is turning for BFC every pun intended .....up Seasiders...........another Club with almost as much history as LFC are they aware ?

    Still can't believe this bloke tried to sue for someone calling him a convicted rapist, when he is in fact a convicted rapist
