Not really the point. Whether right or wrong (and it was tight), it's not for the referee to overrule the linesman on a line decision - that way lies total chaos. The only time the ref should be involved is if it's a matter of whether a player is interfering with play, and since Wilson actually scored the bloody goal, you'd hope it wasn't that, or Madley needs a white stick not a whistle.

The linesman flagged for offside against the goalscorer. That should have been the end of it.

Stuart Atwell is a great referee. I'm not sure in which sport though.

Always dodgy when they swap refs just before a game and Madley did nothing to assuage that suspicion.

Every ref receives a lot of stick but Madley is by far the worst of a sorry bunch.

Madley had that look like he'd left the gas on, complete and utter amateur.
The same madley who sent walker off for standing strong and the same madley who added 8 minutes on after mangler got a nose bleed?
Not the best is he.
