I felt he played well today and will probably start in the Edinburgh derby on Tuesday night, another live TV game. He made some really good runs and with a little bit more belief he could had a goal or two. He was however, at fault for celtics first goal. He never tacked back with his man. He was partly to blame for the second too. He does need to do his defensive duties too.

That's partly the reason he's on loan to Hibernian,it would appear he isnt keen on the less glamorous side of the game.

That's a major stumbling block he'll need to overcome to have a hope in hell's chance of being in Pep's thoughts.

He hasn't a prayer pal,he has neither the ability or the attitude for our set up.Hopefully he can make a decent career elsewhere for himself though.

Not seen enough of him, but when you see the likes of Sane and KDB, who could be 'luxury' players in certain sides, breaking their necks to get back and make challenges in our own third, that's the level all our youngsters need to aspire to.

Yep,and we have kids in the academy, and others on loan, who are light years ahead of him in all departments.

Its a shame as he looked a world beater at 17.

His would definitely sign him if they could afford him which they can't.

Very few of the current first team would be putting in the yards they are doing, if they came through as kids under Pellegrini. We were one of the laziest teams in the league. Pep has instilled the professionalism back into them & pushed them to do stuff they hever did before.

He was very unlucky imo, along with several other kids, to encounter that chancer, who couldn't even persuade blokes on 200k per week to get fit & run about, let alone kids who spent their whole seaaons sat on the bench.

There was no lack of workrate in City's youth teams, including Barker.

What a difference a few days make, at fault for the first goal on Saturday because he didn't track back but tonight the lad was outstanding v Hearts, set up the first and only goal as Hibs won the match 1-0 and continuously burned past his man nearly every time he took him on. His first taste of the Edinburgh Derby in front of 20,165 fans, the match was a sell out and young Brandon strolled it in my opinion, he would have been MOTM if it wasn't for Dylan McGeoch absolutely ripping the piss for Hibs in midfield. Hibs played with two wingers tonight and Brandons skill and pace destroyed Hearts full backs. He should and probably will keep his place for the match away to Motherwell on Saturday.

Heres the BT sport highlights that show some of what he did tonight.
