Bring back the well punctuated sentence,

lol, it's not how you spell it that matters. It's what you say.

and what of your reader, sir? if you're sparing your time to make a point- and i'll assume that you have an investment in your point, in so far that you want people to read it- then why not prepare the sentence in such a way so as to make that point clear to your audience?

edit- failure to capitalise in the right places is ok :P

I can't think of a single post on Bluemoon I've agreed with more. I feel like I'm becoming a catankerous old bastard, but basic grammar isn't too big an ask, is it? This country's going to the dogs, I tells ya...

But i like to miss the odd letter out , now an' again ...... it's my trademark for gods sake ...... if i was more punctuated , i'd only be half the man i am ........ an' i don't do it often , just sometimes , an' i never repeat myself , i'll say that again for you , i say i never repeat myself !

I have to hold my hands up and admit to being a cantankerous old pedant when it comes to grammar and punctuation. Though knowing abbreviation to reflect emotion/regional dialect is more than welcome.
