British based players, who would you have?

Owen: Sky News have just said that he has been offered a new contract but has been asked to take a £25,000 per week pay cut to stay with them. Can't see him accepting that, so would we be a much better team with the player in our squad.

Diarra: Will he sign or go Madrid?

RSC: I think this is a done deal from what I am told and also think he would do a good job for us.

Distin: Been mentioned today, would we want him back and would he fill a gap?

So who would you want and why?

I think signing these players would give us a strong chance of making the top 6 and would certainly put us in a strong position for the summer.
