Great result, was always going to be something we had to grind out. For me MOTM has to come from Stones, Otta and Delph.
Just need spuds to not get a result tomorrow and the chasing pack are falling behind.

Very pleasing performance not so much about style today but more about grinding out a result....is that not a sign of real champions

Haha that bt score show one of the pundits think she played for Arsenal ladies said city scoring goals and defence rock solid not conceding much another clean sheet today,there was silence then they swiftly moved on..

What an immense win. After playing a tough match against one of the best teams in Europe we get it done vs Burnley one of the most in form away sides.
Commentators were quick to say Bernardo dived. Later changed their opinion after watching the replay many times. Clear penalty. Great header from Otamendi defines deserved to score given his recent form. Beginning to show some real consistency. De bruyne with another wonderful assist. Sane took his goal well. Scored and assisted yet had many bad touches but he’ll sort it out.
Sergio one way from the record. He’ll break it next game IMO.
Five points clear. We won’t be hearing joint top anymore lads.

It was a penalty.
We played well but the first touch of certain players was erratic (Sane/Walker) and the wrong pass in the final third was chosen on multiple occasions (Sane/Silva/Bernardo). I imagine they'll say that the scoreline flatters us, but had we played as smoothly as we could, then one could argue that the scoreline flatters Burnley.
