    Hopefully this is bullshit just like the rumoured Navas extension was. Mangala's shite and finding a new centre back should have a been a priority over chasing Sanchez and Mbappe.

    While at Madrid, he couldn't defend well even as a fullback, positioning is his obvious weak point. So, right now - no.
    But it's coachable, see what Pep did with Abidal. Turned unreliable fullback into a brilliant LCB/LB in just 2 years.

    I get that. I think Dihno will be ahead of him in a 3 CB formation. In a back 4, in okay with him being the sub that comes in to shore up a game.
