Champions League Games 12/13 Sept

The odds were 12/1 this morning. We haven't won a Match Day 1 game in the last 9.

Will 10 be the one? We are going for 10 in a row, if you're superstitious it might be worth a fiver.
Have done.

Will give the match a bit more edge whilst watching it.

Looking forward to watching some good football, the last 2 days have been shite.

We are up against a team put together with £700m. Just a few bob more that us, but, that's the way it is and we just have to look them in the eyes and not blink.

Our battle is for 3rd place against Anderlecht, but it's these games we love. We are under no illusions about the task, but we geniunely feel we can score.

If we get mauled, no one will be surprised, we should go into this with no fear. I hope we give them something to think about.

I'm sure we will. I have had my first Valium and will no doubt have a few malts later.

CL, you can't whack it.

Good luck for tonight, mate.

I hope you at least do to PSG what you did to us last season.

Apparently, Stan and rumphole are both suspended tonight, so it will be smallthing and lindelHOOF at centre-back for the rags. A&E is out injured, so at least the Basel players can rest assured that they will be returning to Switzerland with both cheekbones and eye sockets intact.

Basel are unbeaten at the swamp; 1-1 in March 2003 and 3-3 in September 2011.
