Think Lescott would be a good aquasition for us @ present, pretty good defender who scores goals.

I agree that he would be a good signing but I dont doubt for a second that his goals would dry up!

Agreed. Lescott is far better than any CB we have, and as you say, scores goals at the right end (unlike Dunney!).

Hope that one's true.
 
Chris Bailey knows nothing.

When City have a story to put out, it goes to (in order of descending likelihood):

Ian Ladyman (Mail)
Ian Herbert (Independent)
James Ducker (Times)
Daniel Taylor (Guardian)

I physically can not remember the last time the MEN got a big City exclusive, it's always the national daily papers first. And if you read that particular Bailey article, he writes:

"Of all the names most frequently mentioned some appear more often than others and if a chart was to be produced this is how the top six would look."

That is a clear admission that the list is merely an aggregation of the most rumoured targets, rather than a result of any exclusive information. Bailey's source is newsnow, just like all the rest of us.
