City Performances Under an Actual Blue Moon

Full Moons can be considered to be in play for about 4 days either side so since Sheikh Mansour bought the club:
  • 2009: December 31 City 2 Stoke 0 (26/12), Wolves 0–3 City (29/12), Boro 0 City 1 (FAC 02/01), City 2 United 1 (LCSF 1st Leg)
  • 2010: January 30 - Utd 3 City 1 (27/01), City 2 Portsmouth 0 (31/01)
  • 2010: March 30 - City 3 Wigan 0 (29/03), Burnley 1 City 6 (03/04)
  • 2012: August 31 - Liverpool 2 City 2 (26/08), City 3 QPR 1 (01/09)
  • 2012: September 30 - Fulham 1 City 2 (29/09)
  • 2015: July 31 - No competitive games.
  • 2018: January 31 - Cardiff 0 City 2 (FAC 28/01), City v WBA (31/01), Burnley v City (03/02).
  • 2018: March 31 - Everton v City (31/03), CL QF 1st Leg (03/04 or 04/04)
we have won every Blue Moon game except two - and lets be honest a 2-2 draw at Anfield is as good as a win. The defeat at old toilet in 2010 was down to a biased ref (Howard Web) so I can mark that one off.

Christ, who remembers this?

Should have displayed an imagine of cheese on toast instead

I do wonder if all listed are technically Blue Moons for Manchester (some may only be visible as a full moon in certain regions of the Earth during that timespan).

Regardless, though, it seems we fair well under the arbitrary lunar phenomenon, which is interesting to know.

A good omen for tonight (not that I actually believe in such things).
