It kicked of big time at Klanfield remember it well lol .loads arested and injured with many weapons sized

They took loads of weapons off blues going to Liverpool on the train , the scousers got to keep theirs.

I remember queuing to get in the Kippax and the bin dippers running though the queues being chased by police on horses .the good old days.

It kicked off bad enough at the home leg. I've never seen as much trouble since outside the ground.

Think it was worse after the Everton 6th round replay same season.
Was also at both of them and it was mayhem outside Goodison..stabbings galore so on the Wednesday replay every fucker was looking for revenge.
Big mob of Scouse got battered on Claremont Road before the game and after in Whitworth Park the Scousers got it really bad..few stabbings that night too.

This was my first season of going to Maine Road. I was 8 years old and should of been going, but I let the tyres down on the manager of the the Spars car so my dad seen his arse. I remember him coming home after the match saying he's never seen it so chocca and why arn't you in bed! I did go to the Everton quarter final replay and I remember my uncle proper seeing his arse because my dad had made him get Maine Stand tickets and it was about a quid dearer. :-D Great days.
