I thought the proximity to the tram and car park would mean you don't have to leave as early.

This is the issue, isn't it? Adults just getting cheaper season cards if you ask me, but the purpose of the stand should be for families with kids.

At the very least the adult price should be the same as the South stand, and have bigger discounts for the kids' seats.

Either way, even when I was in that end, I felt it was at least twice as big as it should've been.

Exactly. If we are 3 nil up or down and we are kicking towards the north stand it will be 75%empty. Play to the full end.

do yous actually go to the games ?? If so you must sit in he south stand and be unable to see and here what the rest of the stadium sees and hears.
Going on like the ss is some vocal buzzing part of the ground when in fact it's almost as Barron as the rest of the stadium and just as empty as the rest of the stadium with 5/10 min to go.
Hardly a noise comes out of the ss and has got worse over the years, the 1894 bollox with the happy clappers fake atmosphere doesn't help as any atmosphere now seems forced rather then authentic. The Kippax the ss defanetly is not ..
no additional atmosphere from there 2nd half on Saturday with a 1/3 from that stand leaving early too, so stop having a pop at the family stand when the other stands are just as sterile and empty with 5 to go..

Only good thing to come out of this is the away team don't kick to there fans should it be close nothing to do with our fans what so ever

Agree with this. The Family Stand seems to be an easy target for those in the South Stand. The 'early leaving problem' is across the board and there are actually more empty seats in the 3rd tier of the South Stand than the Family Stand for most games.

This isn't a pop at the family stand, or the dads, mums or kids who sit in it, but visually it's been pretty much a disaster from day one. And it seems to be getting worse.

Yes we all know why it was created. But prior to that happening, was sitting in other parts of the stadium with your kids any worse? Be honest.

There has to be another answer to the family stand. Having one end of the stadium constantly full of empty seats, and seats emptying long before the match is over, doesn't look good.

I honestly can't think of another PL stadium that has a whole family stand at one of the stadium.

Which City player or City team wants to attack 2000 empty seats, and City fans walking up the steps with 10 minutes left of the game.

A couple of points the tickets are cheaper in the north stand enabling dad to afford to bring the kids.how would this work if you scattered us round the ground ?
Would other fans want their match day experience ruined by being surrounded by screaming kids ?
The kids enjoy being able to be near to the players they arnt intrested in the tactical views the 3rd tier offers.
The rows of empty seats tend to held back for partys of school kids ,who I guess sometimes dont take them up.
City sell tickets to anyone in NS lower now ,we get away fans in front of us
And finally ss3 was far worse for empty seats than ever the north stand has been genuinely 80% empty at 85 mins

I agree with you saying that the only difference is the away team going towards their own fans.Empty seats wherever in the ground. Everybody is that busy after games these days, baffles me why they turn up at all.

However what you are saying about the 1894 / south stand is laughable. Nowhere else makes a sound apart from the corner section (occasionally). South stand level 3 try to get stuff going but too far away from the action + heavy handed stewards. Having sat in all stands with my season ticket South Stand is head and shoulders above the rest.
