It's really unfortunate for the women that their cup final overlaps the mens match with Spurs. A cup final and first game after securing the title and at home. They would normally be expecting a record crowd but it's a difficult choice to make.

Although there will be some crossover I have got the feeling that MCWFC have their own strong following. I suppose the crowd numbers will answer the question as to how big the crossover is.

I am sure the Spurs game will guarantee a limited crowd for the women and nowhere near the 4,000 of last Sunday which is a great shame. I would imagine we tried to get the timing moved but the powers that be will have refused. It's the cup final for me and watch the Spurs game later.

It's strange that people like the FA try and promote women's football, yet arrange a cup final to clash with men's games. Surely the kick off time for this match should of been around 6 or 7pm on the Sunday .

England U-17 played North Korea yesterday, the game ended 3-3 England equalised with the last kick of the game. Georgia Stanway scored England's second goal with a nice finish at the second attempt. Ellie Roebuck made some great saves in both halves or else it would have been a big defeat. Next match is v Nigeria on Tuesday. Next televised game is next Saturday v Brazil, final match of group. It's 2 pm on British Eurosport 2 if anyone is interested.

Spain look the team to beat so far they play Monday against New Zealand 2pm British Eurosport.

Great game from Stanners, but she needlessly gave away a free kick AND got booked, and from the free kick on the edge of the box the PRK scored. I thought I heard that the England goalie was one of ours! Commentator was berating her for a couple of the goals but she made a great save at the death to allow us the draw. Stanway looks a superb player. Pity she won't be available this afternoon! She's one of those players that makes things happen.

Incidentally, does anyone know which carpark is in use this afternoon. At the CFC game they used the East car park and fucked everyone up by only using that piddling gate opposite McDonalds. The bloody traffic lights only let about four cars out! Is it the Blue car park or are we gonna be kettled in the Orange park for half an hour! Get it sorted, Marwood!
