Ask him Gareth Bees@garethbees
You've created a hornets nest for him there, he will get stung with loads of messages now....
Was a good player was Bees. Waxed lyrical about him did Cassell.
Beehive yourself..... this was 79/80, years before Cassell
You buzzy fucker, calm down honey.
They had to open the Kippax Street (originally it wasn`t open) to let all the latecomers in.The club wern`t expecting as many as that to turn up.
It was the North Stand they had to hastly open, marshalling fans around the edge of the pitch from the Main Stand for about the first 20 mins until they opened turnstiles!
The Kippax was always to be opened with rags stood in the away end corner as well as sat in Platt Lane (About 2000 of them In total)
Ah,I just remember seeing hundreds and hundreds of fans wandering around the perimeter of the Main Stand.Come on mate the old grey matter ain`t what it used to be. ;)
Gary Walsh Uniteds goalie had a stormer that night.
You lucky bastards it could of been 20.
and thats the truth.
Just thinking that very thing!
