Clayton McDonald signs new deal

CLAYTON McDONALD has signed a one-year extension to take his contract at the club to June 30, 2010. The 6ft 6in defender, 20, has been on loan at Chesterfield.

Midfielder Paul Marshall's loan at Port Vale has been extended to May 2.

First McGivern now McDonald have signed new contracts. Its nice to see our youngsters see their future here, and feel they have a good chance of breaking through, shows that we're not destroying football as all the papers say.
