Could Liverpool still finish 4th??? Seriously!

Blackpool are in line to get a Europa league place through the fair play league as Manchester United and Tottenham have the top two fair play records and will probably qualify in Europe through legimate means..

Guessing this would go to Spurs if they miss out :-(

Why the sad face? This would be a major result for us. Spurs would have to enter a competition from early July, wearing out their players early on for virtually no financial reward and making them tired earlier on in the year, not to mention all the extra games they'd end up playing. I'm one of those who thinks that Spurs not playing in Europe next season means they will be that much fresher and will do better in the league. Starting in the EL through the fair play entry means little for Spurs - it won't really help them sign players and may even act as a bit of a humiliation for them. Remember the stick we took for getting the fair play entry a few seasons back? And on top of that, if they play a team of reserves and actually lose early on, they get a major humiliation factor. I genuinely can't see a down side. Even if they win the trophy, it will wear them out completely at the business end of the season, and winning it will still not be as important to them in financial or prestige terms as even getting to the CL group stage would be. It's a win-win for us.

Besides, your info is out of date. Blackpool haven't been in line for a fair play entry for about 3 months now. Chelsea are now top, and Fulham are in second, and they will get the place over Spurs providing that doesn't change (which it might).
