Mad day of cricket yesterday. Unfortunately it'll probably be affected by rain for most of today.

If nothing else it would be great to see Anderson claim his 500th Test wicket and it would have been fantastic to see Root, I believe, set a new record for consecutive half centuries?

Good luck to anyone attempting to bat in those conditions yesterday. The ball was swinging late in both directions, and one over from Anderson was particularly sublime. Even if England win, however, there are evident problems in the top five that will still be present when they reach Brisbane.

Yeah. Sadly though, it looks like there is an awful lot of rain around the entire weekend.

not seen it swing like yesterday for a long time and batting impossible but the england opening batters are crap and you know to get forward and bat outside the crease to cut the swing down but we never learn and i think we will lose this test aswell with having to bat last
