Crystal Club Wembley party

Venue was decent enough, got served fairly quickly and just bought 4 cans to keep me going until kick off.

The DJ seemed pretty sound but kept giving the mike to bladdered fans who just wanted to sing songs on it. The odd song on the mike here and there fair enough, but the constant tone was boring and munich songs was vile.

Kids too pissed fighting with each other too.

Other than that it was pretty decent once the tunes and beers got flowing.

Just another typical away day though where the few spoil it for the many.

It was bouncing when the DJ 'accidentally' announced Chelsea were 2-0 up.

Must've made a few quid. They couldn't hand out those £4 cans fast enough.

On the whole wembley's a shithole - so sounds like Crystal was just about ok.

Previously posted about our visit in 2016. Much better this time. Service pretty good in the upstairs room. Cold cans of Stella £3.50 each or 3 for a tenner. So close to the stadium that was better than a long walk for a £5 pint of shit beer in a shit pub.

When we got there the queue was mental. Sacked it off in the end and just got some cans and a dose of frostbite from Sainsbury’s.

Proper shithole round that end of Wembley.

we went to Harrow, full of blues - but not overcrowded.
Cheaper drinks - defo do that again and will do same for spuds. The away pub at Wembley is the Green Man - which is crap, but will have loads of space.

We went to Willesden working men’s club. Good in there, burgers etc, cheapish drinks and football on tv - dj aswell

Decent the Green Man if the weather’s good, with the massive beer garden.

Agree Harrow is the best bet at the other end, went to the Spoons in Harrow before the Liverpool final, full of blues, cheap beer and a good laugh.
