Wow - quite the shock tonight - RIP Dale Winton - I have to say not my cup of tea but inoffensive and good at what he did.

I smoke, I drink, I have a life shortening medical condition. Worked out that I actually died four years ago.

The only time I ever thought I was in with a chance for a double rollover was when Dale was in charge! Seemed a very nice fellah, and 62 is no age to go! Rest yer bones, and that's my final answer!

RIP Dale. I’m unsure anyone else could’ve got away with presenting Supermarket Sweep yet making a success of it.

I don’t think it’s fair to speculate what may have happened to him until a cause of death is official.
