PS - If Billing played a blinder, why was he subbed off after 67 mins? Saving his legs? The truth of the matter is that he had a very good 20 minute spell followed by a fairly average 25 minute spell and then in the second half (well 22 minutes of it anyway) he disappeared, totally dropped off the pace of the game and was forever out of position.
It's laughable to even consider that he deserved the award.

I can't believe this is still going. BBC MOTM? Who gives a shit? If one of our players won it I probably wouldn't have even noticed. I certainly wouldn't remember who by now.
It's a meaningless tokenistic gesture but hopefully Billing treasures it as he had a good game on a bigger stage.
