Why the sympathy for the player? He's blasted a ball out of temper and it's hit the umpire. Had he kept control of himself, he wouldn't have hurt the umpire.

Plus he's only 17 in, I think, his first season at a senior level. It's quite a jump from winning a ton of matches (he's a junior grand slam champion) to often being second best.
