    Hi folkes just been diagnosed with this, just wondering how this effects you drinking gave up cigs 10 years ago can't do without a pint thou.Anyone who has any info greatfuly appreciated,

    2 Karen but also found out I have an enlarged liver and spleen due to abusing the old lager

    I would look into the NHS web page aswell when you have some spare time. Should have some answers for you.

    I'd suggest immediately going on a paleo diet and see if it can be reversed.

    Doctors won't tell you it can be, but cut sugar and wheat out and you could completely normalise once your gut bacteria heals up. I'm not an expert, but have heard and read plenty to say diabetes can be sorted if caught and attacked head on.

    Had a mate drop dead at 40 thanks to it, horrible thing to have.

    In a nutshell,unless you take responsibility for your diet and fitness,things will not improve.It can be managed very well,or even reversed,but changes have to be made.
