Do we overlook Match Fixing?

Ferguson's last season was just shocking in general, to be honest.

Plus, the myth that all footballers are rich is just that. A complete myth. There's so many footballers with financial problems, even in the modern day Premier League. I remember Jimmy Bullard saying he lost £650k in a bad investment, that sort of thing has happened to so many players.
 
I would guess the more subtle ones are harder to detect, especially if the game is already settled.
For example, if we're leading 3-0 at half time, and the opposition know that Aguero is our penalty taker. All it needs is a soft decision, and £££££££
