And they seem to forget, or at least they did on his “Life” day, that he pressured Marla Maples to abort Tiffany Trump! Like most Republicans, he is against abortion, unless it is his own wife/mistress/young daughter!! And don’t get me started about the “no exception for rape and incest” crowd!

are you sure? see the clip above - he is clearly anti-pregnant women going full term - not sure from the clip whether he advocates early inducements or extending American womens gestation periods beyond 9 months but hey this is Donald he has put the idea out there - its a start

Americans have just done their version of a 3 day week. No agreement = federal services shut down until further notice. Most stuff will run but a lot of people will be not going to work come Monday.

Reading the news it sounds like BobKowalski was bang on in his post about Trump and Schumer. Sounds like they had actually come to agreement, but then John Kelly later intervened and objected and managed to convince Trump to reject it. Sounds to me like the bloke has no leadership qualities whatsoever, whoever shouts loudest or longest wins with him.

That started when they turned their back on Carter for Reagan in 1980.

Carter practiced his faith and worked for peace and human rights. He's the only President in the last 50 years who didn't start a war or send in combat troops. He negotiated a peace treaty between Egypt and Israel that stands today. He still serves at 93, won the Nobel Peace Prize (unlike Obama his was based on merit) and continues to teach Sunday School.

Reagan was a divorced screen actor who was a bullshitter - see Iran-Contra, Apartheid veto, trickle-down economics, Star Wars.

The evangelicals love Reagan.

I feel bad for Jimmy Carter, a smart man who really was given a hard job. A lot of big issues were about to hit and none of it was his fault, inflation went haywire for example and this had been coming. Reagan doing deals with Iranians and essentially acting a twat did not help either. Maybe a to decent a person for office as he did not maybe pay the snakes all around him in government enough close attention. One man i would like to have a good honest discussion with as i have a great respect for getting done what he did amidst the hassle around him.

Indeed. He’s still using his presidential tag for positive projects.

Back to Shitgibbon....

Which rabid nazi in the Whitehouse wrote the statement blaming democrats for the shutdown as they wanted to protect illegal immigrants?

I have always seen good in people even if they are misguided or have not yet learned the lesson of life. This man seems to have lived in a weird bubble worse than that of regular politicians with few redeeming features, if any, in his character. The only reason i do not despise him personally is due to me finding it hard to despise extreme ignorance. It can often be born of low mental acuity and that would not sit well with me if i did knock him whilst knowing he may simply not be to bright.

I really do not think he is that good of a person though either. He saw the stock moves in business and was given a huge wedge. I have read his back ground in business and to be honest, a bunch of us at 3am after a title win would make better decisions, well at least morally correct ones. He worked known legal loop holes to his personal gain (kind of) and killed a mini casino city almost on his own. Some construction companies are still paying of debts from him not paying them.

Republican President
Republican House
Republican Senate

Blames the Democrats.

Seems the final decision was done by Kelly though.
