The fact is that Fox News' "they all suck" strategy worked. It helped to suppress votes and get him elected. I'm a white middle-class male living in a republican area, I'll be fine. But any person of color will have to get used to being called the "n" word again since this was a referendum against political correctness. Playing loud hip-hop music in states like Florida will be enough to get you legally shot. Guns will be allowed in schools so more school shootings. War is back! We'll be invading more Middle-Eastern countries or just stepping back and letting Russia do whatever they want. Eastern Europe will be extorted or left to fend for themselves. There's a better than average chance that nuclear weapons are in play as well. So much innocent blood will be shed that people will remember the US as completely peaceful until January 2017. He has promised more torture than there was when W was president, the killing of families of suspected terrorists,

Back alley abortions, skyrocketing gas prices, food safety laws will be repealed, people with cancer or other horrible diseases will have their insurance taken from them, more breast cancer because planned parenthood will also be attacked and likely shut down, journalists who criticize him will be arrested, we'll be stepping up our production of greenhouse gasses to the levels of China, financial markets are already panicked so this will effect everybody.

Think you're being a tad dramatic.

USA foreign policy direction is made by more than just the president.

Theoretically congress can sort stop something from happening. But the president can deploy the Marines w/o anybody's consent as well as launch nuclear warheads. But right now republicans and the tea party control both houses of congress so there is no opposition with any power at all. He is absolutely the most powerful person on the planet. He also flies into rage and calls for violence against anybody who criticizes him. Do you honestly think that al-Qaeda and ISIS won't want to push his buttons so he'll do something crazy and make the rest of the world hate us? And when that happens he'll just continue to double down until we have WW3. Putin will work him like a puppet and things are going to get very bad.

When W was elected I was right when I guaranteed we'd be invading Iraq and that was nothing my friend. When one of our boats drifted into Iranian waters both Trump and likely Secretary of Defense Ted Cruz called for us to unleash our full military on them. Meanwhile John Kerry negotiated their release withing 24 hrs. There will be no more "Let's talk to them and see if we can work it out", we'll be invading other countries for the slightest sense of a threat.

This. They adopted the same smug, patronising tone, making it about race and identity politics, rather then focusing on key issues that affect working class people. Too much time labelling any Trump voters as being racist rednecks, and dismissing real concerns out there. Having politicians and multi millionaire celebrities come on TV or on a stage, and scoff and look down upon the peasants has blown up in their face. You can criticise Trump, and the people who voted for him, but at the end of the day they lost to a reality TV guy, and a fractured Republican party. They only have themselves to blame.

What is one possible outcome that could be considered positive? We will absolutely back out of our deal with Iran which will put them on track to get nukes sooner rather than later. When it looks like they're developing them we'll invade so we will be invading yet another country in the Middle East. You have to assume England will have to jump in as well. So how many soldiers are going to be dead in a couple of years based on what happened tonight? How many women and children in Iran? How will the USA running amok in the Middle East play to Muslims around the world? They aren't exactly the type to roll over and say they've been beaten, they fight until the end.

Also, there are no more moderate republicans. We have a full-on Tea Party government based on hatred and fear.
