Tell me again how much the proposed ultra rich and corporate TAX CUTS are going to be and then tell me again how healthcare for all is "simply unaffordable."

If you think the indigent don't DESERVE health care, just say it. However, if they want it, they either qualify through Medicaid, or can walk into an Emergency Room and tell the nurse they don't feel well and they HAVE TO be treated. Who pays then??? You see, the Affordable Care Act has the answer right there in the title...this was not the global "health care reform" we need, but rather INSURANCE REFORM TO HELP MAKE IT MORE "AFFORDABLE" FOR MORE PEOPLE. Therein also lies one of the difficulties...it is not the govt that sets costs, but THE PRIVATE, MULTIBILLION DOLLAR ANNUAL PROFIT, HEALTH INSURANCE OLIGOPOLY!!!

So, what do they do? Jack up rates!!

The ACA was not THE answer, it was the best answer the Dems could get through Congress with a bunch of mulitmillionaire Republicans who COMSISTENTLY claim they are the party of family and morality, but who already have their own Cadillac health care program solely for them! Shocker..NOT!

They all cling to guns and the Bible, yet if Jesus Christ himself came back to earth and read the Republican Platform for governance, and saw what and how Republicans conduct themselves, he would NEVER be a Republican. Do you think Jesus would be in favor of helping the poor have decent health care???

I'm so fucking sick of right leaning wankers telling the world how they have cornered the market on morality and fiscal good sense, when they are the epitome of everything that is the antithesis of that!

Simple for instance...Obama's 8 year term was the SECOND BEST for stock market (business improvements and profits converted to investment gains for individuals who have savings and pensions) with an AVERAGE stock market gain of 12%. Who was FIRST? Bill Clinton! Who, I might add, was th last President to run a good current account SURPLUS!

Between them, they had Bush II, who signed the LARGEST TAX CUT IN AMERICAN HISTORY WHILE FIGHTING TWO WARS THAT HE REFUSED TO PAY FOR, THEN PIT THE ECONOMY INTO A GLOBAL RECESSION BECAUSE THE REPUBLICANS COULDNT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT KEEPING AN EYE ON THE CANDY JAR BEACUSE THEY WERE STUFFING THEIR POCKETS WITH JELLY BEANS!

Even given the best economy in forever, Bush turned it into shit, th n Obama had to spend tons of political capital to try and dig us out of it, slowly, surely and deliberately...all while creating the second best stock market returns in history, cutting unemployment in half, creating 20 million jobs, and even getting the price of gas to UNDER $2.50/gallon (Fuck you, Newt Gingrich!). He not only did what he said he would, but he even BEAT the promises the Republicans who ran against him made!

And, as part of a keystone ECONOMIC PROGRAM to help the poor and working poor, he passed the ACA. The Repu locals have voted t d some thing like 60 or 70 times to repeal it, but they do it to pander to their constituents, because they know many of their constituents actually like it! However, NOW they have the chance to repeal it in one day and they are fucking stuck! We are CALLING YOUR BLUFF!

"Repeal and replace" WITH WHAT?

The whole thing has been cobbled together because people like you wouldn't go for UNIVERSAL SINGLE PAYER HEALTHCARE, because it was sold as "socialized medicine," knowing Americans are dumb and think "socialized medicine" must be bad because it says "socialized" in it and socialism is bad...even though they will kill you if you try to take their Social Security of Medicare away!!! They don't even gucking know what they want, they just know "God good, Devil bad" and head back to Walmart!

Quandary! Funny thing is, most Americans have no idea the Affordable Care Act and Obamacare are one and the same. They don't even know the insurance they have is BECAUSE of the ACA!

I don't mean to offend you but I didn't read past the two paragraphs.

It's a fact that it's unaffordable for the average person, premiums were expected to cost $300 per month in 2017 for the silver plan.
