If he sacks him he is royally fucked. I dont like Kushner, something sinister about him, but Trump clearly has devolved a lot of responsibility to him. Have a look at what his portfolio is, it is almost everything. There is a reason for that, Trump is too stupid to be able to do it himself as he is so out of his depth. Any replacement would not come from his inner circle of strangeness, and thereby would be more conventional, and hold him to account properly. Hopefully the whole ridiculous episode will come crashing down later this year
