For home matches this system works, however all their attacks came down our left flank and when we are away from home we do seem a bit light weight. I still want him in the first eleven but feel we need to be stronger away from home at this moment. After Jan hopefully we will have a better left back and can revert back to this system as with a decent striker making quality runs Robinho will shine even more

He should play just behind the CF, but we have no one to play on the left.

According to one of our more esteemed posters, Wayne bridge is more or less a done deal. Can he not play on the left side of midfield, in front of Garrido/Ball? At least until Martin is fit again?

Why not Garrido in left midfield with Ball behind him in away games?

It would mean us changing our system to 4-4-2 (or 1-1), probably with Irreland, Kompany and SWP.

It would help us defensively but take away attacking options.
