For home matches this system works, however all their attacks came down our left flank and when we are away from home we do seem a bit light weight. I still want him in the first eleven but feel we need to be stronger away from home at this moment. After Jan hopefully we will have a better left back and can revert back to this system as with a decent striker making quality runs Robinho will shine even more

According to one of our more esteemed posters, Wayne bridge is more or less a done deal. Can he not play on the left side of midfield, in front of Garrido/Ball? At least until Martin is fit again?Corky said:He should play just behind the CF, but we have no one to play on the left.

It would mean us changing our system to 4-4-2 (or 1-1), probably with Irreland, Kompany and SWP.
It would help us defensively but take away attacking options.
