well it could just be that a tough english manager (with no experiencw from world class teams) has more problems with the differences from other nationalities. They probalby behave different from english players. If you managed a big club with a lot of palyers from different nationalities you gain experience from it and can probaly handle it.

I'm not saying Hughes can't handle foreingers - he seemed to have a good rapport with Santa Cruz but Iäm sure it could be an issue.
