They should do a remake of the Dambusters.
Was watching skynews where they all sit around a table and discuss topics of the week well to cut a long story short the Dambusters was mention and this person didn't even know about the Dambusters.

Hope it does happen but thats a 2 year old article and not seen any other mention of it. Pity really with the way it is now films will be the only way the younger generation will now about our major events in our history.

Really enjoyed it as did all my family.
Churchill asked if was possible to save 30 thousand soldiers to be used to defend an invasion of Britain and a total 300 thousand were rescued.
200 thousand were killed.

Not sure that second figure can be correct.

Not checked it but they made reference to '500 thousand men on that beach'.
