Dortmund Idol! As a replacement for the FC Bayern changing Robert Lewandowski BVB directors want to commit a striker with international format. One of the hottest candidates: Edin Dzeko of Manchester City. The chances are better than ever.
No nine months it's been since coach Jurgen Klopp said frankly in terms of the Bosnia-Star: "If you know that with us in the storm in the next few years what happens, you have to think about Edin Dzeko."

Meanwhile, a change has become significantly more likely: Dzeko feels at Manchester City not appreciated enough. Although he earns around 8.5 million euros per year, but in spite of continued top performance it is anything but set: In 22 Premier League games this season, he was only ten times in the starting eleven, six times he did not play a single minute.
Is heard from his environment that he wants to love you back to Germany. Even last year, Borussia Dortmund wanted to sign the striker, but the lush salary startled the BVB bosses from. Sporting director Michael Zorc says to SPORT BILD: "The subject content hygiene is important to us. We feel very comfortable with our products and our philosophy. "
But now Dzeko should be willing to give up part of his salary and to sign an extremely performance-based contract. From the play-wise he would be the perfect successor for Lewandowski definitely. However, just over 20 million euros transfer fee would then probably due. A Dzeko return to Wolfsburg it is, however, certainly not enter. Manager Klaus Allofs to SPORT BILD: "He is not on our list."

Well, since City will not allow him to become a free agent (when is his contract expiring? Summer?), he will either be extended here or sent to Dortmund.

I didnt believe it at first, BUT - if teams pick up that City will not re-sign him, they will play a wait game and force City to give him up for less than they could get....say if they traded him right NOW...so I dont exlude anything, it is a business after all...Delicate stuff.

Is this not the time that we should adopt that continental favourite old trick of inserting a £100M buy-out clause in his contract?
