I used to get it bad on shins and arms... would scratch my legs till bleeding sometimes, tried countless prescription creams, all useless..'........ started using sun bed, haven't had a hint of it in over 6 yrs ;)

Got the tar cream treatment which was washed off with porridge oats inside a bandage.
So there could be something in the porridge oats theory.
