EDS Cit v Sunderland

How good is Angelino?

Can anyone see him and/or Maffeo becoming City first team players in the future?

-- Fri Mar 28, 2014 8:48 pm --

Goal Sunderland! Michael Mandron reduces the deficit after rounding Ian Lawlor and slotting home. It's 5-2 now with three minutes to go.

Absolutely brilliant game, some top players we've got here and can only see them getting better! Glad I made the effort to go see it now

Thanks for the link. Sounds like entertainment.

It might just be good coaching, something lacking for a few years in that group. Remember, they even pulled us out of the domestic league a couple of years ago and kids were left twiddling their thumbs for half the season. Welsh wasn't good enough and Lombardo was just a yes-man in Mancini's quest for power.
I think we've also benefited from just dumping an entire "generation" of players and going ahead with the younger players who've actually come through learning our way of playing. No more physcial lumps like Helan, Wabara and Nimely and no more friends and family of Mancini (Scappuzzi and Mancini). We have an entire squad of people who are there for a reason, rather than a collection of randomly collected players

Bob was great for the first team but he made a right mockery of the EDS system with jobs for his boys. Vieira doing a fine job, got high hopes for some of these lads

Fofana's goal was an absolute stunner. Very impressed by Jason Adenauer, he made a brilliant goal line clearance. Every time I've seen him play, he's impressed. Looks like a real star for the future.

Fofana's goal - Its a pity out youth system is so poor....
