EDS CM for first team

Evans did well against Hamburg, but wasn't given a chance against Boro in the cup a few days later, in true Pellegrini style. Imagine the ship has sailed for him and he'll be sold in the summer.

Glendon is a nice footballer and keeps the ball moving well but needs a loan spell to really test if he's durable enough for the senior game.

Kean Bryan is one who could make the grade as a combative holding midfielder, with a simplistic but effective passing game. He's got an intensity about him that rubs off on those around him, meaning he could go further than his footballing ability alone would naturally take him, like that pikey Roy Keane did.

Ntcham and Byrne both have good talent but it remains to be seen whether they can utilise it consistently; I've seen them both turn in polarised performances.

Our best hope of a midfielder from within the club making an impact next season is Zuculini, who looks like a good all-round player. Loaning him to a very good Valencia team was short-sighted, but hopefully he has a decent second half of the season and comes back to preseason training with a bit of momentum.

Fofana?

I'd put him in the Byrne/Ntcham category. Talented, but looks lethargic at times. Obviously young enough to develop that, and getting him out on loan to Fulham was a sensible move.
