Wish him the best. I held out hope that he might somehow come good under pep but that never was realistic I suppose.
No chance for the archetypal 'second touch is a tackle' player. Great physically (bossed Costa) but very poor on the ball.

Jorge Mendes has offered City defender Eliaquim Mangala to Sevilla and AC Milan. He could arrive on loan or permanently. [Estadio Deportivo]

Sevilla didn't want to pay £8 million for Nolito and couldn't afford to keep Nasri, no way we're getting a decent fee from them. AC Milan have the money now but we all know how the Italians don't like to buy anybody. Him and Bonucci could make a very good partnership there though.

They've spent around €180m on 8 players so far this summer.

Their young (and Italian) CB Romagnoli has been fairly impressive. Not so sure that's where Mangala will end up.

City have told Inter 'no' to a dry loan deal (no obligation to buy) for Mangala. [Sportitalia]

A meeting is ongoing between Mangala's reps and Inter. Inter may agree to a loan with a conditional obligation to buy. [Sportitalia / FcIN]
