Anyone know who fabricated the bridge?

What!!?!
It's covered in fabric? Surely it will wear out quickly - or are they providing those slippers you get in posh hotels, to wear whilst you cross it?

CITY TO POCKET £6M-A-YEAR FROM BRIDGE NAMING RIGHTS

Manchester City are poised to bridge the Financial Fair Play gap to the tune of an extra £6m a year.

Manuel Pellegrini's side are already in deep discussions with a number of major companies to display their names and logos on a bridge as part of the City Football Academy development.

City are putting the finishing touches to their £150m state-of-the-art City Football Academy, which is situated across from the Etihad Stadium.

The Manchester club have also spent millions on a foot bridge that spans two major junctions and will connect the two sites, which will be used to illustrate the club's mission statement of creating a path from youth to first-team.

Platini needs to see this :D

you'd think the players would have enough on their plates this week with the derby and le Arse away without having to go balls deep in negotiations over sponsorship

Without stating the obvious, I can never understand why sponsorship figures are included in articles.

It's obvious they don't know the true figure, and the club nor sponsor will ever announce that figure either.

It's just pure guess work.

Given that most newspaper articles are made up - it's only right that Journo's make up some numbers to support their pack of lies....

If a sponsorship agreement is significant to a donor's bottom-line then they will have to disclose it to their shareholders, otherwise I think it's just speculation

Anyone know which company sawed, welded and assembled the steel for the bridge? ;-)

Hopefully not the cowboys who did the B of the Bang.
