Rather impressive really.. The Swedes played with a lot of heart and discipline, while Portugal was the better footballing team really, until they ran out of steam at least.. Odd that?

Funny old world, not seen much of the competition but we were poor/shit yet beat the winners and both finalists came from our group.

I think the estimated player valuations are stunningly undervalued.

Its what people forget when it comes to the world cup/euros

All the blame is directed at the manager, or certain players, the FA, our youth system bla bla bla

when in fact 90% of it boils down to fine margins, pretty much a level playing field in these competitions now days

I doubt many would have predicted Sweden to win at the start of the tournament!

Sweden were direct and powerful, but with good quality. Portugal had great build-up play, very Spain-esque, but no real end product.

Sweden's teamwork and work ethic was great to watch and fair play to them.
