The jealousy is a trait that has become a very English one. It's a terrible one which goes hand in hand with hypocrisy. As in other teams always mentioning our owner's money, then getting all giddy when they hear news about someone of his ilk taking over their club.

Everton believe it should of been them and that's where all the hate stems from. They cannot cope with the thought that the sheik may have had a look at a few clubs in England and picked us. It tears them up inside

The Sheikh didn't, he wasn't even looking. Shinawatra needed to sell as he was borrowing money from the previous owners to pay wages, as his accounts were frozen in Thailand. He knew the Sheikh from his time as Thai PM and has assylum in Dubai to this day ;)
