Sánchez had a hand in the opening goal, carrying the ball inside, feeling the spaces open up around him and playing a nice pass into Marcus Rashford.

Think even Jamie Jackson might blush at some of that. He will obviously be very good for them, but he looked a bit rusty tonight and classing that first goal as a “nice pass” is, well, pushing it a bit to put it politely.

All we need is an innocent little boy to tell a world blinded by its own interests and prejudices, that the Emporer has no clothes.
