FA CUP how would you revamp it

1. All teams must play their best sides. Any team found playing weakened teams will automatically lose 3-0

2. All teams play from round one giving non league sides to oppertunity to earn some much needed money off the so called big boys.

3. Should a premier league side draw a non league side at home. 75% of gate revenue will be given to the non-league side.

4. The semi finals will be played at neutral stadiums nearest the competitors inclusive of all league grounds.

I.E Chelsea V Everton - Villa Park

Rags V Bolton - Eastlands

5. The winner will be entered into either the europa league or champions league.

Bring back the good old FA Cup weekend when all ties are played on a Saturday KO 15.00hrs.

Fed up with these lunchtime and tea time Kick Offs (Saturday or Sunday)

How would you judge what a weakened team is?

so you want the premier league teams to play more games and still maintain an interest for 2 extra rounds, in a competition that half of them don't give a fuck about now?

I'd have a special calender could of months where the only fixtures are for the F.A. Cup. No league games or anything else apart from European games obviously. This way you don't have to worry about choosing to go to a league or cup game if your a bit skint. If it was done towards the end of the season when the weather's better that would be even better. F.A. CUP MONTH OR MONTHS! LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN.

So you get knocked out in the 3rd round and then do what for the next 5 weeks??

FA cup winner gets champions league slot, (perhaps instead of 4th place in the league getting it)....err...but not this year.

So you get into the Champions League by winning 6 games during 9 months?

Get shut of the League cup, then it will give the FA cup more importance with it being the only domestic cup to win.

By the time the 3rd round of the FA Cup starts, there are only 4 teams left in the League Cup - for those clubs not involved in Europe, it fills the gaps in during the Autumn months

Get it back on the BBC.

Wembley is as neutral as it gets

Crap, Wemberlee is money making for the FA, in the past it was a prize to get to a cup final at Wemberlee, the prize is now taken away.

Anyone at the semi at Villa park v Ipswich in 81 will know the difference and what it means to win a "neutral" semi and get to the final.

What I mean, is that the glory of going to Wembley for the final is taken away in the semi. But the FA are only doing it to get money.

Wembley is not neutral if it is City v Arsenal or City v West Ham.
Neutral is a venue (roughly) half way between each competing club. The cockney's get it all. As always......
