FA Cup Qtr final draw - away (big shock) at Middlesbrough

It's a fix when we get consecutive away ties, but when we were almost exclusively at home in the cup, not too long ago, not a peep from anyone...

Its probably the best draw for an away match. Obviously Lincoln or Millwall would theoretically be much easier, but in reality they would be horrible trips

Would have hated either of those. Banana skins, and no messing. This is clearly doable. Our best chance of silverware in Pep's first season. Don't fuck it up. Starting with the replay.

If we beat Huddersfield (and that's a big if, if Pep puts out a team like on Saturday), then winning away at Boro will be tough.
Boro (A) fixture wins are as rare for City as going to Anfield.
It's going to be tough - very tough.

honestly, we avoided Arse, Chelsea, Spurs and the rags (out of 7 teams) and it's still a fix.

Is that 6 or 7 times drawn away on the spin?
If 6 that's a 1.56257% chance
If 7 that's a 0.78125% chance.

I'm glad we are away to Boro if we beat Huddersfield, far more confident of winning than at home these days.. As for a fix, in our favour maybe ... Love to get to the semis and play the rags.. Bring it on.

if it's 6 it's 63/1, if it's 7 it's 127/1, does that equate to your percentages? Either way it's huge odds and getting drawn away next season will make it 255/1!!

Sorry to put a downer on the away draw theme, but some of you clearly have memory issues. Prior to the current 7 away draws in the FA Cup, we had 8 home FA Cup draws in a row.
