Anyway, I hope that the new owners will be laughing along with you and not at you. And, yes, I did wear a form of fancy dress at Stoke Away [was it really 1988?] but I won't be doing it now, as I'm so old, sad and pious [a 'leftie', apparently].

I was thinking about taking the kids to Blackburn, but suddenly it doesn't seem like such a good idea, as we still appear to be 'them'.

Thank you. I probably overreacted. No idea what scottyboi is on about, but then people probably say that about me. Anyway, as for bananas, they were always good fun but I imagine that the all seater factor may provoke a ban at away grounds. Quite what the Sheikh would make of our fetish for inflatables is anybody's guess.
