With lots of new music released this year by artists that most would recognise such as Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Coldplay, Robert Plant, Rag'n Bone Man, Kasabian, Stereophonics, The Killers, Foo Fighters, Paloma Faith, Sam Smith, Harry Styles, Snoop Dog and Depeche Mode along with natives such as Liam and Noel Gallagher, The Charlatans, Morrissey and Elbow. What have you been listening to this year?

In no particular order, I've liked the following albums:

Little Fictions - Elbow
Low in High School - Morrissey
Lotta Sea Lice - Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile
English Tapas - Sleaford Mods
Spirit - Depeche Mode
Everything Now - Arcade Fire
Every Valley - Public Service Broadcasting
Dark Days and Canopes - Ghostpoet
Holiday Destination - Nadine Shah
Who built the moon - Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds

Wish I could say I’ve heard more than Liam and Noel this year but the album reviews set me back from current music

Gary Numan Savage (Songs from a Broken World) - 10/10 absolutely brilliant and the first Numan album I have ever bought oddly.
Depeche Mode Spirit 9/10
Wolf Alice Visions of Life 8/10
The XX I see you 8/10

Slowdive - Slowdive
British Sea Power - Let the Dancers inherit the party
Mogwai - Every Countrys Sun
Public Service Broadcasting - Every Valley
The Blue Aeroplanes - Welcome Stranger
Beck - Colours
Mew - Visuals

Another vote for Depeche Mode - Spirit, needs a few listens but it's a fantastic album.

Oh...

And Gary Numan - Savage, another top notch offering from him.
