Favourite old school trainers?

Had a pair of these at school. Adidas São Paulo. Dead comfy they were. Ruined them playing football in them though. I think they were about £28 in the 70s.

i loved my linebackers with the big floppy tongue......
my 1st pair of nike were wally waffle and was gutted when they eventually got chucked because my mum couldnt afford any more "big name " trainers

I had a friend who had a pair of Nicks trainers and because he was one of the popular kids, he was able to convince everyone else that they had a "real" air bubble in the heel. Not like that fake air that you got in Mercury trainers.

I wore Nicks for best as we had to buy through provident credit and only at Christmas.
For general use I just painted my feet black and laced my toes.
