More uncommon than rare, bizarelly i can buy a pair of blue leather walsh adder which these were copied from for half hundred £...both work well in a 5 a side court.

I got a pair of those design your own gazelles last week. Great idea that.

I did that couple of years ago, sky blue and white in leather, so comfy. About £80 at the time but 15% off for signing up for emails

I wore Nicks for best as we had to buy through provident credit and only at Christmas.
For general use I just painted my feet black and laced my toes.

The best trainers for 5 a-side back in 1979/80 were Patrick Keegan (kangaroo leather I believe). Was playing at least 4 hours a week at the time and went through most available brands before settling on those. Fantastic grip and supremely comfortable.
