Made me laugh when I saw it. As for Berbatov being gone in the summer - that'd be a pretty stupid move. He was never going to have much sell-on value after we paid so much for him, and coming off his best ever season for us, it'd be wise to keep him around.

personally i wish we had managed to get him instead of Robhinio, at the time i was over the moon with Robbie but i think he was never fuly on board with us. i thought Berbatov was a class act with the spuds and he gets wasted with the rags. Needs to be playing every week, and would link up well with Tevez.

You're bang on with this. Red face only bought him out of somekind of obsession because spurs laughed at them the previous summer. They didn't need him at the time, they'd just won the european cup, and it only hastened Tevez to leave. If he'd come to City he would have gone straight into the team and played every week. I'd imagine him orchestrating the play with Silva and bringing people into the game with the added bonus of sublime goals. But no. He sits on the bench with the sound of chewing gum in his ears, watching chickpea goal hang around the six yard box like a common gary lineker. One of the most skillfull players in Europe, shunned for not running about like a headless chicken. This is the way our game is going.
