Fernandinho - 2016/17 performances

    Did not play well and it's difficult to see if him getting in the side if Gundogen was fit

    He's been poor for five games or so now. Maybe his age is finally catching up with him? He looked slow and ponderous, it was alarming how easily the likes of Cameron and Allen bypassed him.

    He's been on a poor run since Pep used him as a full back.

    Except that he was brilliant at Sunderland, of course.

    Didn't think he was brilliant away at Sunderland, he was again easily bypassed.

    Better second half but Christ he was gash in the first. He hasn't played well since November

    Not played well since he got those stupid suspensions. Maybe age is catching up with him?

    He's been awful for months. I love him but you can't say there isn't better players out there to replace him as a starter in the team.

    Sometimes the decline or over the cliff moment hits you without you expecting it. I hope that is not the case with Fernandinho. His level has certainly dropped in the past few months. Needs to get his mind back in the game.
