not heard anything about this, the only thing i can say is that numbers and figures were given to Liverpool for Torres by us, the cards are firmly on the table and liverpool know where we stand on this player.

the same applies with gerrard aswell.

Well Inter were a physical team and Messi was nowhere to be seen in the 2 legs plus he's always missing against English sides in Europe, United, Liverpool and always Chelsea because of their physical power. Villa has never played with a big team before where theirs pressure have my doubts about him. Torres Tevez would be the best partnership in world football no doubt. Rooney Torres would just about beat it though.

Ask Arsenal if he went missing

well, messi would'nt work in the prem. not enough physical presence, needs time on the ball and never really gets tackled because la liga isnt very physical.

do me a favour, that kid is strong and wirey relative to his frame and is tough to knock off the ball - Robbie could actually do with taking lessons off him regarding strength on the ball

messi always talks that he will never move to EPL , he never should as he will look shite here.Inter game just showed us he is just a bag of air against strong defending.

Come on, there is no chance of him moving anywhere until after the World Cup, so even if Liverpool were willing to sell to us he wouldn't be coming. He has an opportunity to send a message to any club in the world over the next month and he is in no rush to leave Liverpool. Even after that I seriously doubt he would consider City.

He has already sent that message when he said he would "consider" his future after the world cup. Could have said "I will be a dipper next season come what may", but he didnt. BTW not sure of the spanish for dipper.

Can't stop giggling to myself imagining Torres saying 'Dipper' in his Spanish accent! I'm getting into work too early.............

i would love this guy here! but like most are saying we are being linked with everyone and there are so many ITK's on here that actually know as much as my next door neighbour "nothing" that waiting will be the best option.... look at last year we all thought Eto was looking like coming and then out of the blue we bought Ade which was the worst bit of cash we spent (only mu opinion)

however i also agree 250k a week is STUPID for one player who spends half a season in the medical room BUT i would cladly throw 1 weeks worth of my monthly slary in just so he can play against the united because he makes vidic look like the player he really is and that would be worth it :)
