in a West brom, West ham, Stoke, Newcastle we would have talked about him as one of the top midfielders in the league in my opinion, fair enough he did not suit us but in a more defensive team, he would have been brilliant

As i said days ago, Fernando has joined galatasaray for the fee 5.250 m euro.
Quite cheap. Let me tell why.
Galatasaray has been splashing out this summer.
And i think City board and executives arent aware of what is going on around.
Look at these overrated players and fees (euro) that galatasaray paid, please:

Y.Belhanda (D.kiev): 10 m
Maicon (Sao Paulo) : 7 m
N'diaye (Osmanli) : 9 m
B.Gomis (Swansea) : 5 m

Fernando is far better player than the players above. Skills, career, expeirence, cups etc.
No doubt city would have earned more than 10 m euro from fernando if they haggled well.
